The design incorporates expansive soil volumes to support large, healthy trees and the gardens highlight plant communities that thrive in San Francisco’s Mediterranean climate. ![]() The park serves as an essential element of the new East Cut neighborhood, providing a horticulturally rich open space in an area whose population is growing rapidly. The Salesforce Transit Center-recently completed and opened to the public-is a modern transit station capped with an iconic 5.4-acre rooftop park designed as a public destination and community asset in downtown San Francisco.
